- TOEFL or IELTS may be requested from applicants from non-English-speaking countries
- Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, behavioural sciences and humanities can strengthen preparation
- Volunteer work, professional experience and community service support the applicant's profile
Transfer applicants
- Transfer credit is not granted automatically for study completed elsewhere
- Placement is determined after the Admissions and Promotions Committees assess official transcripts
- Applicants expelled from another medical school are not eligible
- Candidates cannot transfer into the final year of clinical practice
