  • Prerequisite study in Biology, inorganic and organic Chemistry, Physics and college Mathematics
  • MCAT taken within two years of the application deadline
  • TOEFL or IELTS may be requested from applicants from non-English-speaking countries
  • Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, behavioural sciences and humanities can strengthen preparation
  • Volunteer work, professional experience and community service support the applicant's profile

Transfer applicants

  • Transfer credit is not granted automatically for study completed elsewhere
  • Placement is determined after the Admissions and Promotions Committees assess official transcripts
  • Applicants expelled from another medical school are not eligible
  • Candidates cannot transfer into the final year of clinical practice
